Hi Linda, thanks.

I have seen your website and think that in the near future I can buy assistance for the best possible configuration.

But I have question right now: i've tryed to configure Declude AV scanning with integrated AVG engine using your guide, but it seems to not work, nothing happens and there's no AV logs...

Is there a more recent guide (the one on your website seems outdated...)?

Addendum: the antispam portion of Declude is already working very well!!!

I'm glad to hear that the antispam portion is working well for you. In the past, we had AVG integrated inside of Declude. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case so that is why you can't get it to work. You can, however, use a command line virus scanner of your choice with Declude by configuring the Scanfile lines in the virus.cfg file. You must first have a virus scanner installed on your server which supports command line email scanning. As this option can be very costly, our suggestion is to NOT use a command line virus scanner with Declude. Instead, use the built in ClamAV that comes with SmarterMail and it's a good idea to add another layer of AV protection such as Message Sniffer or Commtouch ZeroHour.

Ah! Ok!

Then I think is time that you update the guide in your website...

I have many antivirus license to use (we are a system integrator and reseller company, so I can use our NFR licenses...), can you help me to create the correct configu to use them?

I can use:

- F-SECURE PSB (preferred)
- AVG Business
- Kaspersky Business

It is possible to use multiple AV at the same time?

Obviously, disabling their real time scanning engines...

You are correct.. we need to update the guide. I will be doing that within the next few months. Thank you for the reminder :) Yes, you can use as many virus scanners as you like. There is even a directive to stop the other scanners from running if the first scanner triggers on a virus. We will be happy to help you with the configurations. Please send me a direct email to my address in my signature. Thanks!
