Bring back preview when selecting multiple emails

Hey all,

Some setting must have changed when we upgraded to SM16.1 from 15.1 as now when I select multiple emails, it just says "you have X items selected" rather than previewing the last email selected. I get probably 300-400 emails per day which need to be quickly glanced over before deletion and selecting each manually and deleting one by one is really painful. Is there a place I can change this setting to preview the latest selected like in SM15?

Hi SM Team,

I totally agree with Jonathan.

I received a lot of spam messages and in SM15 was really easy to preview the last selected email, now it is a real inconvenience to keep to have to preview emails and then go back to multi-select them to mark them as spam.

Please allow previewing emails while they are being selected.

When things that used to work well in previous versions have been completely changed and/or do now not function properly, it is literally shocking (gives me an actual headache!) to read about all these issues, with a version that's supposed to be not only production-ready, but a step up.

Hi Jonathan,

At this time, there's not a setting available to switch this behavior. This functionality was changed with the release of SmarterMail 16.x. That said, I'll go ahead and change this thread from a Question to a Proposed Idea, and I'll forward this request to the development team for their consideration. I agree with the convenience of previewing the selected message when clicked.
