robocopy files to new server

I created a share on the new server and started robocopy to copy all data from the domains dir
robocopy.exe /MIR d:\Smartermail\domains \\172.30.30.148\SmarterMail\domains
 
is it correct when I just run this twice, first to copy all data and than shut down smartermail service and run it again to copy all new data faster?

Hi Richard. Yes, this should work for you. I have used Robocopy many times in this way and it has always worked for me.
