Please note that while support is active in the community, we are not able to respond to each and every post, and so we recommend you submit a support ticket when you require feedback to critical questions. 

Off the top of my head I can tell you that Core is not listed in our system requirements, and may not be supported with this in mind. However, I believe it should work more or less the same assuming you have IIS and SQL Server/MySQL installed and running on this server as well. 

I do recommend testing this internally before rolling it out to production though. If you need further assistance with this please submit a ticket so that we can solicit guidance from development and/or test this further on your behalf.
