SMTP Logs

I was wondering if there is a log that shows a a clearer reason to why a connection to an smtp server would fail? trying to connect to office365 and unable to do so.

Solved this - issue with comcast as an ISP and our static IP address. Using a relay was a must. Sorry for the post.
