Could a sound notification be added for when New Mail arrives?

Thanks for the suggestion! You can currently enable a toast notification for new messages in SmarterMail but not a sound. I can definitely see the value in having more customization options to your notifications though. Other users can vote up this request to show their interest as well.

I regularly use ringtone for my device. Those will be vibrant and easily recognizable notification sounds. Thank you for the suggestion.

It is recommended to enable notifications but not add sounds, it would be better if you change or customize it.
