Are Mac App Contacts supposed to sync and DELETE deleted contacts?

SM15.Latest ENT.  SmarterTools please perform a test.  Create a new contact on and iPhone (EAS) and see if it appears in Mac Contacts App (EWS).  Now delete the contact from the iPhone.  Does it delete in the Contacts app? Should it?  Mine don't.
