Spam Filtering Bug in 14.2.5703
Problem reported by Mark Strother - 8/14/2015 at 2:51 AM
Resolved
Ran into a serious bug tonight and wanted to give others a heads up. A bug was introduced in the newest version of SmarterMail, 14.2.5703. The three dropdowns in the anti-spam settings screen (for low, medium, and high spam) don't save the correct settings. When the dropdown selection is changed to any setting it immediately changes back to 'take no action'. I thought this may be a browser specific issue but I can reproduce it in all major browsers.

This is a major issue as no changes, to any spam filtering settings, can be made without the filter action resetting to 'take no action'. You can edit the setting in the mailConfig.xml file but as soon as you save any spam settings in the web interface the spam filter settings will reset to 'take no action'.

I've opened a ticket so hopefully the issue will be resolved ASAP.

I can confirm this error.  If the top action is changed, it changes all three of the actions to TAKE NO ACTION.

This is a bug and it needs to be resolved, ASAP!
