when I use Firefox to manage the domains (logged on as system admin) and clicking on right menu items don't change.
I keep seeing the domain list and the domains specifics in the right content frame.
using windows 8.1 and latest version of Firefox.

I haven't upgraded to the latest v14 yet, Will do soon.

Hé, nog meer Nederlanders :)

Ýou mean when you click in the menu on the left, the right side doesn't update? I do not have this problem in SM 14.0 when I test this in Firefox 38.0.5 on Windows 8.1

@flexws hey.. fellow Dutchman
That's exactly what I mean. I just de-installed FF and reinstalled again but the same behaviour.
I RDP-ed to an old win2003 srv installed FF on it and it worked like it should.

strange..

Nooooo... I just uninstalled again FF and deleted all the program folders and %APPDATA% Mozilla folders to be sure nothing is left behind.
It didn't help.

Have you tried using Chrome and/or IE?  Is it only a Firefox issue?  In the past, we have seen a similar issue, and it was a JavaScript error in a particular browser.

It could be a problem with your temporary internet files / cache.

Deleting from %appdata% only deletes your roaming profile, but your cache is saved in your local profile. Take a look at %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles and delete the cache or the complete profile over there.

@flexws Will try that tomorrow.
On my own notebook @home I have no probs using SM on FF and if it's a cache problem that could be caused by the ramdrive I am using for internet caching for FF and IE.

@steve: I deleted chrome not because of this :) FF is more then good as alternative for IE

I have this issue as well. The left panel in System Administrator never changes. Works just fine in Chrome, but FF is my primary browser. Happens in both FF v46 and v45.

If I go to manage a domain, the domain list remains in the left panel even though I am on the management page for a single domain. If I click on Email, File Storage, Reports, Settings, etc. the left pane never changes and only shows the list of all the domains on the server. If I click on one of those domains in the left pane, the main screen changes to the Details page of that respective domain I click on.

Any tips on resolving would be appreciated. Thanks!

I came across this problem just this Tuesday on a brand new computer with fresh Win 8.1 install. I had just transferred settings from an older computer. Previously saw it on a Win7 Pro install, just started happening one day. It only seems to happen in FF, Chrome and Opera and IE all worked so i new it wasn't a smartermail setting issue.

I fixed it by using the HELP / TROUBLESHOOTING / REFRESH FIREFOX - Worked normally after that.
