Richard:  what version of SmarterMail are you experiencing the problems with?  Are you on the latest release of your installed version?

Hi Bruce
Well, I wasn't so I did upgrade to the latest version, following the procedure like uninstalling rebooting and then installing latest version.
 
Unfortunately it didn't help, so I helped the customer to reinstall his account. But his problem remained.

Richard:  When you say, "reinstall his account," do you mean delete his account from his device and recreate it?
 
If that's the case, and doing so didn't resolve the problem, then you probably need to open a ticket with SmarterTools and include copies of the logs with the ticket.
