IE Locks Up When Looking at Calendar Month View Several Months In Advance
Problem reported by Terry Mann - 11/19/2014 at 8:35 AM
Resolved
We have come across an issue where IE (v10) locks up when a user looks at their calendar six months or more in the future.  At first, the browser response is sluggish but ultimately, they will get a browser-generated message indicating that a long-running script has caused the browser to stop responding.  This does not appear to be an issue in Chrome.

I have been able to replicate the sluggish response in IE 11 when looking several months in advance.  I have added this to our bugs list.

We have looked into this and found the cause, the fix should appear with the next minor update.

Matt.  What Version was that ? was the fix done ?
We just upgraded tonight to the latest 14.4.5801, and my initial observation is that the entire smartermail seems to be more sluggish.  The only change that happened was upgrading from 14.something that we originally installed in July, to this 14.4.5801. Followed the instructions for a minor upgrade.:

Everything seems to be moving slower, especially calendar

I noticed it's slow to load right now. But this is another issue with javascript that would run more recursively every single time you went to the next month, after a couple months it got so bad it wouldn't even load. This should be in 13 and 14.
