Problem with Content Filtering

I have problem, that Content Filtering did not work. 
I only have 2 Filters all Mails from sender X, should move in Folder X.
But all mails are in Inbox Folder.

If the messages show up via a pop or imap retrieval then the filters do not get fired... yet.
I take mails form my webserver with pop3. 
What is the right possibility to get mails?

Björn F., SmarterMail 12.x and below do not support spam or content filtering on messages received via IMAP or POP.  However, that is now a new feature introduced in SmarterMail 13 (released yesterday 3 Nov.).
