Shared Calendar Read Only

In the latest version we cannot use shared calendar as read only permission. Although getting closer and the right menu has been disabled, a read only user can simply click the number in the calendar and add an event.
 
Please fix this issue as we would like to use the shared calendars but are unable to if read only users can create events.
