Import users function

Under domain settings/users you find an import button.
But I can't find no info on how to use this.
What is the file format needed to setup users to import new users?

I did search online help and knowledge base but couldnt find anything.

The format that SmarterMail is expecting is a .CSV file.

You can point it to any text file really, it will automatically try to map the necessary fields and if it fails you can manually specify which fields belong to the data contained within the file.

I personally recommend a .CSV file with the following headers:
Username, Password, Display Name, Reply-To Email Address

I hope this helps.

Is there a way to import the Backup Email Address? I have it listed in the CSV file but it does not give it to me in the list of options.

Thanks,
Dave

Could you please post or attach correct .CSV template because I have trouble importing CSV, it imports only username although password and display name are also in the file. Or could you post instructions or procedure how to do it.

Thank you.

Is there a way to set a forwarding email address during the import? Going through the steps to import a list of users and selecting variuos options ie User Name Display Name etc... I do not see an option to select forwarding address. Would be a nice feature to have while importing a couple of hundred users.
