Some changes need to be made within ColdFusion when running it on the same server as SmarterTrack. This is because ColdFusion implements in IIS by default, and this integration can cause some stability issues for SmarterTrack. Modifying a setting in ColdFusion can help eliminate these issues, however.
  1. Open the "Web Server Configuration Tool" within ColdFusion. By default, this is located at c:\ColdFusion2016\cfusion\runtime\bin\wsconfig.exe
  2. Remove the "All" entry, which prevents SmarterTrack from being configured as a separate site within IIS.
  3. Add just the ColdFusion sites you want connections for, leaving any SmarterTools product un-selected.
Be aware that these changes will cause an IIS restart.
