Applies to All Versions of SmarterTrack
At times, upgrading SmarterTrack can cause the installation to lose the license key and revert to the free edition. This happens when IIS starts before the database, making it so that SmarterTrack cannot connect. Because of this, SmarterTrack sees no data or license key and assumes it's running the free edition.
To resolve this issue you can perform a simple IIS reset by opening a command prompt on your server and entering "IISRESET" (without the quotation marks). This will restart all of the IIS sites and apply the SmarterTrack license key back to the installation.
