To send emails in SmarterTrack you will need to configure the SMTP settings for the Brands and Departments. These are the settings you will need to enter when using Microsoft 365 (Office) and Gmail. For more information on how to configure the SMTP settings please refer to the knowledge base article -- Send Automated Emails from SmarterTrack

Gmail
SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com

NOTE: When using Microsoft 365 (Office), if the "From Address" and "Auth Username" do not match, there is a potential need to configure "Send As" privileges for your mail server. You may also need to set up SMTP relay on your Microsoft 365 (Office) account.

That would indicate that the event isn't firing. Try setting the condition to message received greater than 2 and see if that makes the event fire. You'll also want to make sure any other conditions that are set are also being met...and that the Action you set up is set correctly. Feel free to email sales@ for more information or assistance.

As it's configured now, (Gmail) we're getting the following error when clicking "Test SMTP": Failed to connect to the SMTP server.

Possibly there is more configuration required on the Gmail side. We are looking through the Admin Console settings and will post an update if we figure it out.

Update: After generating an App Password, we were still unable to test w/ success. Once we removed the Email Address field, it then started to work. So, we put in Server, Auth Username (as email address), Auth Password (as App Password) left Email Address blank, Display Name worked either way, SSL Encryption port 465, then tested with Success.
