Store a domain on multiple drives?

Is there any way to split a large domain across multiple drives on the server? I can think of several scenarios:
  • Out of space on primary drive and need a 2nd drive for more space.
  • 2nd drive is fast (SSD) and would be nice to store index files, temp files, and other frequently updated files for a more responsive mail server.
  • 2nd drive is slow and would be good for large attachments that are infrequently accessed.
Here are some old threads that discuss this, but wondering if anything has changed.
Thanks.

Hello,

Currently, High Availability (HA) is the only way to do this. This is not possible for the "Standalone" version of SmarterMail.

Standalone (and HA) offer "Secondary Storage" options that can help here.

Secondary Storage / Secondary Path - A secondary path, or Secondary Storage, can be used for older emails and files in SmarterMail File Storage so as to preserve disk space on a primary drive. SmarterMail allows system administrators to select an "Age" to use for automatically, and continually, moving these files in the background, starting at 90 days and then increasing in 30 day increments.

Thank you
