Customer reporting many emails being delivered directly to Deleted Items folder

As the title says... I have a customer reporting that many of their emails are being delivered straight to their deleted items folder never stopping in the inbox nor junk mail first.   They have no events nor content-filtering configured for their account, nor at the domain level.  They also insist that their email client doesn't have any such rules setup (I cannot confirm that).

Started happening after the roll out of the SpamFoo system whatever version that was and continues to date (we have not updated to the latest version yet).

I can't explain it

Any thoughts or ways I can track what path these messages are actually taking via the SM logs ?

Have you looked at spam actions? Could it be that SpamFoo is increasing a spam score to the point where a spam action is moving the messages to Deleted Items? Have you looked at the header of one of the messages? What about checking the delivery logs? (Or have them check both.)

Rod,

I've sent you an email opening a support ticket for you. I'd like to get some background information on this issue and review the log files from a day this occurred. Once I have this information I can start investigating what's causing this.

Thank you,
