I have a site I need to filter out specific client errors from the list of 500 errors the specific line items have the following consistencies:
I tried:
sc-status=500
sc-win32-status=64
and
sc-status = "500"
sc-win32-status = "64"

how can I get filters to stop showing these types of 500 errors.. on streaming sites its very common and means nothings.   Which filter do I use?  I did log processing which has 1 line to enter into OR do I use the filter sets on the site view?

Hello Michael,

If you are trying to filter out these lines when the raw logs are processed and imported into SmarterStats in the first place by using a "Log Processing Rules" this would not be possible.

If you are trying to use "Filter Sets" to filter out these error results, I will need to do some testing, as the filter sets will work on what is in the far-left column.

If you’d like, I can help you test this out. To get started, please create a ticket with our support team and send us about a week’s worth of logs. We can use these logs to help us narrow down the results. Just so you know, we don’t have a special filter that processes the IIS column header.

Could you tell me which page you’re trying to filter these results on?

sc-status=500 | "500"
sc-win32-status=64 | "64"
Thank you
~Tony

Aye I am willing to do this with you.  is there another way to filter out these records that I am not doing.  I don't care how it's done as long as I can filter it out to the smarter stats client.  that way I can get a real understanding of REAL 500 errors vs client burps.  I can open a ticket.

Hi SmarterStats community! I just wanted to confirm that there is not currently an option for filtering out 500 errors, but the idea has been added to the feature request backlog. Please be on the lookout for future release notes.
