webmail inbox randomly stops working for some users

Hello,
I’m experiencing an intermittent issue that I can’t quite pinpoint. I’m running the latest SmarterMail Enterprise on an AWS Ubuntu server (32 cores, 64GB RAM), with around 1,850 users and 11TB of total storage. Mailboxes are capped at 100GB.
The problem is that users occasionally report their webmail (Email tab) stops working with a loading animation, and IMAP access fails at the same time. In most cases, if I release the user’s IP, everything starts working again.
I’m wondering if this could be related to a setting within SmarterMail—perhaps under security or connection limits—and whether any adjustments are recommended.
Suggestions appreciated.

I noticed this with one session on a lightly loaded server. I closed the browser window and opened a new one, and the issue went away.

Hello Patrick, just sharing,  from our end, when the client complains, if we go in via impersonation, we also cannot see the inbox, unless we release the user's IP.
