More preset text formatting (color) in the webmail client
Idea shared by Christian Ressel - 10/15/2025 at 2:23 AM
Proposed
I've been using Microsoft's OWA for years, and years ago, it was easy to set the text color of the emails I send. Unfortunately, I miss this simple option in Smartermail. It would be very desirable if I could write emails with more than just black text in the future, without having to manually adjust it in the editor every time...

FYI: I changed this to an idea as it's not technically a problem, though you may disagree :).

I've forwarded this suggestion over to the devs for discussion.

For you, Curtis? No.

:)

Yeah, can do. Though, I do have to add a caveat here: we're kind of limited by what the editor offers. So if there are more options, we'll look at them.

Oh.. HEY.. THANKS ! you are awesome ! hehehe
My single biggest complaint about the current color picker is that if you select something that already has a color property applied to it, the color picker does not show you what that color is, or the code for it, so its all guess work. In my instance, I have a bright yellow already set, but if i highlight a letter in it and hit the color picker, it does not tell you what color codes are already present.
