This exception code (0xe0434352) is unfortunately not very indicative of the root cause so we'll likely need to check some additional logs with you. If you do a quick search of the logging on your server do you find any repeating errors being logged in any particular log file?

I typically start my review in the Error logging and then move to protocols like IMAP/MAPI/etc. If you find a repeated error you can usually see which user is triggering it as well and that should give you a path to begin troubleshooting on.

I don't know if it's the same problem you're having or just a coincidence, but my SmarterMail service crashed today (for the first time ever, I'm pretty sure). I'm also on 9357, but on Linux, and at least in my case there was apparently a spool file that was expected to be there and wasn't.

I just mention this in case the cause happens to be the same for yours.

Hi Nick,

I created a ticket for you, your issue sounds very similar to this and what others have been reporting. I included a custom build that should address the issue you are seeing so let us know how that performs for you. You can reply in the ticket if you have any questions.

Thank you,
Dillon Murray System/Network Administrator SmarterTools Inc. www.smartertools.com

Thanks! I have installed the custom build.

edit: I installed the public Build 9362 now.

edit again: I'm not the original poster, but after using Build 9362 for a week I have not encountered this problem again.
