Webmail | Move a folder
Problem reported by Sébastien Riccio - 3/10/2025 at 9:23 AM
Resolved
Hello,

Users reported to us that they can't move a folder from webmail. The right clicking on a folder and selecting the "Move folder" context menu brings no dialog to select the destination. It just does nothing.

Anyone else seeing the same behavior ?

It was attempted with different browsers, with the same result.

Kind regards.

JS Console shows this when cliicking:

$mdDialog: using `<md-dialog ng-cloak>` will affect the dialog opening animations. <div class="md-dialog-container" tabindex="-1">…</div>

jquery.min.js:2 [Violation] Added non-passive event listener to a scroll-blocking 'touchmove' event. Consider marking event handler as 'passive' to make the page more responsive. See https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5745543795965952

root:1 Blocked aria-hidden on an element because its descendant retained focus. The focus must not be hidden from assistive technology users. Avoid using aria-hidden on a focused element or its ancestor. Consider using the inert attribute instead, which will also prevent focus. For more details, see the aria-hidden section of the WAI-ARIA specification at https://w3c.github.io/aria/#aria-hidden.
Element with focus: button

Most probably the last one is relevant to the îssue ?

Hello,

Any ETA for this ? I was hoping for an hot fix to be provided quickly as this should be kinda "trivial" to fix or in thursday release. But no release out this week.
Our customers using webmail are asking how they can move a folder...

Kind regards

Hello Derek,

Yes, build 9210 fixed the issue with destination folder modal not appearing when trying to move a folder.
Thank you for this.

However by testing it throughly, I discoverer another bug that prevent some destination folders to appear in the modal list. Looks like a filtering issue to me. I have a ticket is open for this.

Kind regards
