New Cyren Licenses Having Issues

Just so you are all aware, we've had a couple of tickets from customers who are unable to activate new Cyren licenses -- either purchased licenses or trials. We've reached out to Data443, the company who owns the Cyren IP, and asked for their input. 

Existing licenses do not appear to be affected -- only new ones. We've checked our own logs and things are working fine, but in our tests with new trials, the service is reporting a licensing issue. 

More info will be made available once we hear back from Data443.

Just to follow up on this, we've had some back-and-forth with Data443 and they're working on resolving the issue. They've also confirmed it should only affect trials and new licenses. Once we have a timeframe for the resolution, or once we've verified that things are working, we'll update this thread.

So, we've been working with Data443 and the audits we just performed against the information they sent over shows that all active licenses assigned to customers are also in their database, showing as active. Therefore, things *should* be resolved for any new licenses and new trials that are assigned.

If you have a Cyren license, but it is showing as "inactive" in your logs, contact our support department and please provide us with either the Cyren license key OR your SmarterMali license key.
