Email Alias - Sometimes only sending emails to first email address on the list

We are on the most recent Smartermail build, and a few updates back we started getting complaints that users were not receiving some emails when they were sent being sent to an alias email address.    It has happened on multiple alias lists; it is not specific to just one.   Also, when it occurs, we found it is only sending the email to the first person on the alias list.   We do have a ticket open but was curious if anyone else is experiencing a similar issue?
