Update from 8923 to 9049
Problem reported by Sabatino - 10/14/2024 at 6:08 AM

I updated from 8923 to 9049
First impressions:
I didn't notice any increase in cpu/ram/bandwidth consumption
A problem I had with the 8923 is that automatic pop retrieval doesn't work.
I reported it via ticket and I was told that there was actually a problem that would be solved with subsequent versions.
With the 9049 it still doesn't work. So if a user sets automatic pop retrieval, know that it doesn't work. In manual, yes.
in dashboard/user connection it tells me 0 xmpp connections and instead I'm sure that there are users connected.
also in ip connection it gives me 10 xmpp connections

I'll let you know if I encounter other anomalies

We had to downgrade to the trusted 8930 to get rid of headers dissappearing from emails when sending to scandinavian characters in the names of recipients.

That is annoying to say the least...

after a few hours I have not received any particular reports.
Spam scores seem to have increased, but probably the anti-spam monitor works better.
the localization is mainly Italy, so I have not received any reports at the moment about problems with utf8 characters

I remain in vigilant waiting

About 1500 email boxes and 400 domains.
Without Mapi/eas, only imap, pop3, smtp, xmpp

For pop retrieval if you delete and recreate the pop retrieval task then it works correctly
