Limit the authentication by IP

is it possible to limit the authentication of an email account by IP?

Yes should be in Settings -> Security -> Whitelist -> New -> your IP + Bypass SMTP Authentication (this will alsow disable spamcheck for this ip (even if it is not mentioned)

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out. If I understand correctly, you would like to restrict authentication for specific email accounts to certain IP addresses while blacklisting others. Unfortunately, this feature is not currently supported. However, I will submit a feature request on your behalf.

In the meantime, I recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) as an added layer of security.

thanks for the reply,
yes, basically enable only some IPs for authentication (example for SMTP sending). To increase security, it would be a "Block per IP" at user account level.

Well seems that i complety missonderstood the ot question...

Would be nice if we could limit Webmail access based on ip to per user ( user 1 has webmailacces from all, user2 only if in lan)
