emClient annoying pop-up asking for password over and over

"Hello I am using the emclient app for email but it keeps asking for a password and when you enter the password it just pops up asking again it is doing this for multiple accounts"

This customer is using IMAP with SmarterMail.  We are pushing our customers to emClient, but this seems to be a persistent issue.  Also, the annoying popup occurs on my Windows Desktop and Android phone.  Re-creating the account fixes the issue.



These settings are automatic when setting up emClient.  The user enters no settings.  Yet after a few days, the password popup happens again and again.  We have several tickets open for this issue.  Any assistance on this matter would be appreciated.  We posted this in SmarterTools forum because emClient connects to it.  We may cross-post to emClient forum.  Thank you!

The next time a user reports this - have them go to https://whatismyip.com and provide you their Public IPv4 address. Check to see if that IP is listed in the IDS blocks, they might be getting blocked intermittently which would present as failed authentication until the IDS block dropped out.
