Hello Ricardo,

Are you seeing this folder at C:\Windows\System32\SmarterMail.Standard.Files.DirectoryInfoX? If so, this is a bug we fixed back in April, so I'd recommend an upgrade to resolve this. If you're seeing these elsewhere, please let me know.

Best regards,

Jorel

In my testing, if you upgrade, the files don't just disappear. I would recommend checking the last modified dates for any activity and just deleting it if there is nothing going on. There should not be any issue with deleting them as we have done in our testing environment.

Hi,

I was curious about this one and checked on our system
The folder was filled with 20GB of <uuid>.tmp files with latest dating from 6 April 2024.

I removed the folder, an extra 20GB of system disk space is always welcome...

Kind regards.

Glad to hear it, Just for reference this is the build that resolves the issue.

Build 8860 (Apr 4, 2024)
Fixed: SmarterMail is processing email attachments from compose window in the System32 directory.

Thank you
