Glad to hear it's been working well for you. Linux will be nice for these scenarios too where you just need a simple gateway server but don't want to spend the windows money for a whole new box.

So far so good, no complains from client at all.

Hmmmm spam filter is enabled but the report has 0 spam filtered at all. Strange..... Do you want me to ticket in?

Our latest 8930 beta actually fixes up some of the stats not showing up right in reports. We had a bug in the beta that prevented a chunk of statistics from being recorded. Once you've applied that version you should start seeing stats again, no history from before the update though as the issue was with recording stats.

Ok performed an upgrade today as scheduled with client.

The upgrading is so much smoother than Windows. 3 command line and things are done. Loving it.

Although some of us have used Linux variants over the years for specific purposes (firewalls, PBX, game servers, etc.), most of us have been die-hard Windows users. But that is definitely changing!


Not only did we bring SmarterMail to Linux, but we also moved most of our infrastructure to Linux and Google Cloud. We are very focused on bringing the best experience to Linux, just as we did, and will continue to do, with Windows.


We have a ton of new features and releases planned for the remainder of the year. It's all pretty exciting, but it has been a lot to juggle. But, so far so good!

I just checked, the log stats is still zero. Let me know if I can ticket in and also extend the BETA trial

I wanted to pull how many email was relayed via the incoming gateway and how many spam hits it got filtered but I am unable to find such stats. 

Am I missing out from something?
