Smartermail Meetings Feature
Question asked by Jose Gomez - 6/12/2024 at 3:37 PM

I really want to roll this out to clients, but I have quite a few domains on our server. Does anyone have any idea how much of a load the meetings feature during usage on the server?

Not much, we use WebRTC and thus connections for video and audio are sent P2P between clients. You can introduce a TURN server to help take the load off of the P2P connections, they can also help in cases where P2P may not work or have issues with network routing.
SmarterMail just helps keep track of who is in what meeting and allows the peers to exchange p2p info with eachother. So you don't need to worry about bandwidth or load really.

May I ask what protocol you are using to connect to Outlook?

Brian,

Scheduled online meetings do not directly sync to clients because they are not linked to a calendar. If you create an appointment and add an online meeting to it, the appointment should be synced to your client with a link to the associated scheduled meeting.
