Is it possible to generate Meetings directly from MS Outlook and smartphones?

Under Consideration
I would really like there to be an integration for MS Outlook and iOS/Android smartphones that allows you to create meetings directly from native calendars, instead of having to necessarily go through WebMail...

It's possible?

Hey Gabriele,

Short of using the web interface calendar there is no way that I know of to accomplish this. eM Client allows you to create online meetings in SmarterMail directly from the calendar. However, the mobile app doesn't have a calendar yet. But adding a calendar is in their plans. https://www.emclient.com/blog/come-test-the-beta-version-of-em-nbsp-client-for-ios-and-android-566
I don't see why you wouldn't be able to create SmarterMail meetings in the future when they add calendars to the mobile app as they want to align the experience more with the Desktop version of the app. As far as Outlook goes we would need to create an addon kinda like the teams or Caldav sync addon. I will go ahead and write this up as a feature request.

Kind Regards,

Can you explain precisely what you are looking for Gabriele?

Maybe I read your post wrong....

I like having a way to create/schedule a MEETING in SmarterMail directly in the MS Outlook calendar (or SmartPhone calendar) similarly to what can be done with Google Meet, Zoom or MS Teams if you have the relevant MS Outlook plugins or relevant mobile APPs installed.

Many customers who use Outlook (or who use the native calendars and mail of smartphones with Active Sync) find it inconvenient not to be able to do it and are forced to go to WebMail just for this sole functionality...

 @Brian
To use MS Outlook integration with Teams you need to have a 365 "business" or "school" Teams account.
It doesn't work with "personal", "family" or "free" acconts.

Furthermore, calendar sync Teams<->Outlook seems to works only if your MS Outlook and your Teams are connected to the same  MS 365 "business/school" account.

Google Meet Outlook Integration Plugin needs a Google Workplace PAID account (it doesn't work for free Google accounts)

Zoom Outlook Integration Plugin works like a charm, even with free Zoom accounts.

That said, customers that are migrating meetings from 365 Teams Business, Google Meet (Workplace business) or Zoom to our SmarterMail server are complaining the lack of this Outlook integration with SmarterMail meetings ...
