Message corruption (probably) after EWS read
Problem reported by Comcentrica - 4/9/2024 at 9:49 AM

Hello,
on a SM 8836 I'm experiencing this issue: a message is received by 2 different recipients in the same domain. One of them syncs in Outlook desktop through MAPI, the other in Apple Mail through EWS.
The former can read correctly the message in both Outlook and WebMail, the latter displays a blank message in Apple Mail and an item with no sender ("From Unknown User"), no Subject and no Body ("[This message has no HTML content]") in WebMail.
This is happening with several messages coming from the same sender.

Any thought?

Thanks

Hello! We did introduce some fixes for some issues that might be related to the behavior you're seeing so I recommend trying an upgrade after getting a full backup of the environment beforehand. If that doesn't help please let me know and I can get a ticket started so we can look into this further.

Hello Kyle,
thank you for your reply.
I've upgraded to build 8860. I'll let you know as soon as a message from the affected sender arrives.

Hello Kyle,
a new message just arrived, and the issue still persists (Ok in Outlook/MAPI - Corrupted in Apple mail/EWS).

Thank you
