Maili Lists More Control (Allow Specific Domains)
Idea shared by Hasham Wahaib - 10/17/2023 at 3:18 PM
Proposed
I Would Like to Purpose an idea that when we create mailing lists, if we don't allow certain specified domains it could be more controlled from spams. Some times we need to get mails from different service providers only but not public, and it is hard to adding particular email mail address.
Example: if we are receiving mails from financials institution (Banks) some times they sending different information from different emails addresses.
Other Example: if we have Mailing Lists called "uitilitibills@domain.com"
mains we are getting mails from Cell Phone service Providers, Mails from Electric or power service providers, etc.....
But we don't want all public to be sending emails,
----
If possible to implement it will be highly appreciated

Hey Hasham,

So if I understand what you're requesting you want to basically set up an account with a whitelist that only allows certain senders to send to you and if they are not on the list they get bounced?

If this is the case it could be achieved through content filters.

Thanks,

I appreciate the feedback and suggestions regrind mailing lists.  However, mailing lists will not be getting major changes moving forward. We maintain and update and do small improvements regularly but mailing lists in SmarterMail are designed to offer basic and reliable mass communication, not to compete with specialized email marketing platforms. Similarly, our Team Workspaces is meant to facilitate simple and effective online collaboration, not to replace full-fledged video conferencing solutions. We understand that these features may not meet all your needs or expectations, but in most cases we meet the needs for most people.

The one thing you will get out of us is honesty and we want our customers to know exactly what were doing and when so they can make the best decisions for their business.

Anyway, hope you try out the new BETA, lot of new stuff in there :)
