Use Gateway in round-robin if outbound email bounces

Hello,
All Smartermail / email server administrators face issues related to IP blacklist, IP throttling etc. I am interested in seeing if there is an inbuilt way where the following can be done

1. A user on smartermail sends an email to Google / Microsoft 365 / 3rd party server etc - sent from Primary smartermail SMTP
2. Receiving mail server says - busy, throttled, blacklisted etc
3. Instead of email bounce and return to sender, can we immediately retry the email from Gateway 1
4. Same issue with Gateway 1, try Gateway 2
5. Gateway 2 delivers successfully

Above is just an example as there could just be 1 gateway or 20. Is it possible to do this in Smartermail? If not, is it something that could/should be added as a feature?

already proposed in the past but without success

I would add that there is no routing system that is found on other mailservers that acts on the spool

Example:
if the sender is
%@domain.tld sends to serversmtp.tld: authenticationdata

if the recipient is %gmail.com send to serversmtp.tld:
authenticationdata

How many problems could we solve with routing rules?

But you would need to have all the GW's listed in SPF and reverse DNS to not get the em ail to bounce from the secondary GW's....

obvious. if I set a secondary gw of course I put it in spf in my opinion few ask for this functionality because many use outbound gateways instead of sm some examples above all icewarp has rotation rules postfix (I have no direct experience but reading the documentation) has the routing rules sendmail has routing rules
