Chrome phishing warning because of sender icon/avatar
Problem reported by Reto - 8/31/2023 at 12:09 AM

We had multiple client report that they got the red chrome phishing warning because the browser tried to load the favicon from a senders domain. The mails where spam that was not detected and in the inbox.

Do others have the same problem?

It would be nice if this feature could be disabled or perhaps at least the favicon fallback.

Hello Reto! Do you mind PMing me the sender domain name so I can do some testing in-house? In the meantime, you can turn on the Hide email avatars in the message list toggle in Settings>Account at the very least and this should help. Thanks Reto!

DM sent. Yes the option helps, at least the users can login without the red screen until they click on the message itself.

Thanks Reto! Just following up here as well in case anyone else is seeing this. I was able to reproduce the problem in-house so I'm going to get a task escalated up to development to review further now.
