HI

this is something you need to send to Plesk support.

Read and act on the error message.   This is an operating system error which tells you the mchk. exe program lacks access to the subway. ps file.  You need to fix the file permissions or change the account being used to launch the program..

I agree with previous responses, this is something going on with Plesk. Plesk Support will likely need to help resync the installation with SmarterMail once the underlying problems in Plesk have been resolved.

I agree with earlier replies that this is a Plesk issue. Once the underlying Plesk issues have been fixed, Plesk Support will most likely be required to assist in resyncing the installation with SmarterMail.

We ran into this issue when we were running a trial of SmarterMail.

Plesk has not fully adopted the new API changes to SmarterMail and as such is currently incompatible.

I reported this problem to them (even after wiping and installing a clean Plesk installation with their newest release) and they blew me off and told me I needed to open a support ticket - which I'm not paying for if I already pay the license lease and their software doesn't support something out of the box that it claims to do.

Two weeks later, they released an update claiming to fix changes to the SmarterMail API, but those changes are still not working.

This is definitely a PLESK issue - but good luck getting them to do anything about it. We dropped Plesk from our mail server and are managing it fully via SmarterMail and some automation from another of our Plesk servers (for SSL certs and DNS zones ONLY).

Plesk integrates heavily with MailEnable - and honestly, if it wasn't for that integration, ME would probably be sunk - but Plesk guarantees the software is installed on every Windows Plesk server...

-- additional note -- with Plesk -- before you do anything (especially like re-syncing mailbox user settings and data - make sure you have backups of your backups.  You don't want to know how I know this...

Hello, I think you should verify there are no firewall rules blocking communication between Plesk and SmarterMail services. If using a non-default SmarterMail installation path, check for any hardcoded paths in Plesk configuration that may be referring to the old install location
