Should separated application pool be created for each domain?

If there are multiple domains each with its own IP. Should I create separated app pool for each domain?
The server is running SM v15 latest on Windows 2016.

No, having multiple app pools all running SmarterMail can be problematic. You'll want a single SmarterMail IIS site and application pool with all custom hostnames added as bindings to that one site.
