User Activity - SmarterTools

I'm seeing a lot of user activity from the same email addresses, e.g. I'll have between 50-100 connections from 1 address. Is this normal?

Currently sitting at 204 connections from 30 email accounts.

If your users are leveraging an email client or device that supports IMAP IDLE functionality this might be expected. Do you have a lot of iOS users?

They do use Mac's, PC's and iPhones, so maybe.

The only issue I have, I've tested this.

If I have my email client open on my main machine, then open another email client up on the same machine, my IP goes into the IDS blocks.

I was wondering if this would be the same case for these clients if they have a load of connections (they have been complaining of not being able to pick emails up now and again)?
