Inline Images for Incoming Tickets
Question asked by Larry French - 12/29/2022 at 8:24 AM
Answered
When a user emails in a ticket and if they paste an image in the email, the image is then added as an attachment on the ticket.  The image is not shown inline in the email.  It only shows where the image was in the email in brackets like [cid:image001.png@ssdfsdf]

Is there a setting to enable for the images to be displayed in the email HTML?

Hey Larry,

Thanks for reaching out regarding this question. If you click the three dots on the side of the ticket message you can click Show HTML. This will open a new window and show the inline images.

Please let me know if this helps.

Kind Regards,

Image and HTML content are stripped from ticket display in the Management Interface to provide a cohesive interface and provide security for the SmarterTrack server. The steps Zach outlined are the required approach to view the email in its original form. Alternatively you can also view the original message in an email client of your choice.
