Hello Merle,
I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with images/attachments after the issue you experiences. By default all attachments and images are stored here
C:\Program Files (x86)\SmarterTools\SmarterTrack\MRS\App_Data\Attachments
You can try and merge the two folders.
The KB should have a ID in the 'code' view that can help you track down and verify this in the database.
