Custom Office Software for SmarterMail (Word & Excel)

Hi Community,

It seems that most SmarterMail competitors are now offering some kind of Office compatible software to enhance their offering.

We have not been aware that SmarterTools is considering adding this to SmarterMail in the near future and have therefore developed our own software which allows direct editing, printing etc. of Word and Excel files stored in the File Storage of SmarterMail.

The software is build in ASP.NET 4.8, has to be installed on the same server where SmarterMail is installed and is already been used on a daily basis by most of our SmarterMail users.

Well.. have requested several times.. to allow to have a "custom" button that could be incorporated into the customer's menu bar, that could be the "link out" to those type of services. We have similar functionality, but no way to tie it into SmarterMail.

Gabriele Maoret - Head of SysAdmins at SERSIS Currently manages 6 SmarterMail installations (1 in the cloud for SERSIS which provides services to a few hundred third-party email domains + 5 on-premise for customers who prefer to have their mail server in-house)
