Forward the message to another host OR is content filtering available in gateway mode?

If the recipient was not found in this domain,
forward the message to another host?
Is there such a setting method?

Or is content filtering available in gateway mode?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to the community. The setting that you're looking for is the Inbound Message Delivery setting. This setting can be set to deliver locally first and if the user doesn't exist it will send it to an external host address. This setting is located in the Domain configuration settings located under the email card.

Please let me know if this helps.

Kind Regards,

Dear Zach Sylvester!

Unfortunately, in this case, content filtering
has no effect on the content of the emails.
So like the inbound gateway setting works in
this case as well. Is there a solution for this?

Thank you!
Tony

@Tony: I believe you can use the setup method that Zach has outlined, combined with enabling spam checks on the SMTP side:
When setup with SMTP scanning under Settings>Antispam>Spam Checks, the spam checks will be done during the SMTP phase, before delivery, and should help cut back on how much spam ends up being forwarded to the other server. I hope that helps :-)

Thanks guys for the help!
Unfortunately, that didn't bring it either
the right result for me.
