Unable to save password in domain mail.premiermedicallegalconsulting.com

My client updated her password today. Now we are not able to log in using her updated password. I have opened SmarterMail Administrator on the server and confirmed that the password is entered correctly.

I think: OK: I'll just set a new password. But, I cannot. I enter the correct old password, and a new password -- but SmarterMail will not Save the new password. My client is locked out of her email.

Can someone please tell me what I should do next, to get SmarterMail to save a new password? (And why SmarterMail will not accept the current password -- which I have doublechecked several times?)

Never mind, I got it. Client added trailing space after password. Case closed. Thank you. Eric
