Hello,

Thank you for posting to the community. My name is Zach I will be helping you with this question. This is a very simple process. All that you need to do is go to C:\Program Files (x86)\SmarterTools\SmarterMail\MRS on the server. After this replace the favicon.ico with one of your own. Then restart the IIS app pool. Then it should work. You might have to clear your cache however as favicons tend to get saved there.

everytime I will update SM, do I have to replace the favicon.ico?

Hello Stefano,

Yes, this is part of the core files and will be updated every time you upgrade. Once the installer is finished running you will want to replace the favicon again.

Hey Stefano,

Thank you for the question. You do need to replace the favicon.ico every time that you upgrade as the favicon gets deleted. Then when you reinstall it's replaced with the default one.

I agree changing favicons is something we would be interested in as well, but all customization must be consistend through upgrades
