I have always wondered what this number indicates and, furthermore, if it has any real use of some kind ...

I wonder it as well. I found 13 log files daily in the log folder of the server. There are 29 types in the drop down. My view logs number is 40 as now.

Hi,

Mine says 21, so I logged into my server and I have 21 uncompressed .log files, over 2 days, the rest of them are compressed.  So I tested it by uncompressing one log, and it changed the number immediately to 22.

So this number represents, the number of uncompressed .log files in the logs directory.

Thank you for your reply. I confirm that the number represents the number of uncompressed .log files in the log folders as said.

Ok.

But... has it any real use of some kind?
