We have clients that are reporting when using webmail the auto marking of email to the "read" state is too quick (almost instant).  For example if a user has two unread messages and deletes the one above then immediately the one below goes to "read" without delay.  Users are accustomed to using outlook or em-client where there is a setting to control the seconds of delay before a message changes to "read".  Some users also have hot-mail accounts where a delay setting also exists in webmail for the "read" delay.  

I would like to know if there are plans to add a setting control in webmail so users can change the delay timing of the "read" state?  If not I would like to request that the delay be hard coded to 5 seconds if possible.
