Feature Request: EAS, EWS/MAPI and Webmail Bandwidth Accounting
Idea shared by Jay Dubb - 11/4/2021 at 12:22 PM
Proposed
Bandwidth overview reports show consumption for SMTP (in and out), IMAP and POP.  But there is no accounting for EAS, EWS/MAPI or Webmail.

We're adding a big new account and bandwidth has soared by a factor of 50x-- from a few Mbps to upwards of 100 Mbps during the workday hours-- but SmarterMail reports aren't reflecting it in the SMTP, IMAP or POP numbers.  Seems EAS/mobile and Webmail are the most likely culprits, since almost none of their users are on Outlook.

Requesting EAS, EWS/MAPI, and Webmail (we use IIS) bandwidth consumption to be included in the Bandwidth accounting in SmarterMail, to give us a MUCH better picture of how SmarterMail is consuming network resources.

Please UP-vote if you agree.
