Hello! Operating a third-party antivirus on your SmarterMail server without the proper exclusions can lead to data loss, corruption, and locked files which can lead to the SmarterMail server experiencing unexpected behaviors. To resolve that you'll need to ensure the following exclusions have been implemented in your AV solution:
Once those files/directories have been excluded, you can then re-implement your AV solution into the SmarterMail incoming/outgoing spooling process via the Command-line Antivirus options found in Settings>Antivirus when logged in to SmarterMail as a system administrator.
